Peter G. Klein is Professor of Entrepreneurship at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, Adjunct Professor of Strategy and Management at the Norwegian School of Economics, and Carl Menger Research Fellow at the Mises Institute. He received his PhD in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He serves as Field Editor for the Journal of Business Venturing and Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Perspectives. Klein’s research focuses on the links among entrepreneurship, organizational economics, and firm strategy, with application to innovation, diversification, and public policy. He has published more than 80 articles and chapters in journals such as RAND Journal of Economics, Organization Science, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Industrial Economics, and Sloan Management Review. His 2012 book Organizing Entrepreneurial Judgment (with Nicolai Foss, Cambridge University Press) won the Foundation for Economic Education Best Book Prize.
