Eric Brousseau is Professor of Economics and Management at the University Paris-Dauphine; a member of PSL Research University. He is the founder and the director of the Institutional and Organizational Economic Academy (IOEA), and a past-President of the Society for Institutional and Organizational Economics (SIOE). His research focuses on economic governance, market regulation and the dynamic of institutional frameworks. He is interested in the organization and evolution of institutions shaping economic activities; hence detailed researches on how regulatory frameworks emerge, evolve and perform in various contemporary or historical, national or transnational contexts; as well as on the interactions between self- and public regulations. He pays a special attention to the consequences of digital technologies and the Internet on governance issues.
